Group Discussion

Teresa of Avila didn't leave us a method but rather a way of prayer. She simply shared her experience with her sisters and now with us, the Baptized, to encourage us to believe that we too could come to know and experience God as she did. She shared her testimony. By starting a session with a group discussion rather than the presentation, it seems to quickly break the ice. This leads to the formation of  a cohesive group more comfortable sharing their personal prayer testimony with one another. Participants end up encouraging one another to persevere on this divine road of Carmelite prayer, the royal road to heaven. Below please find different group discussion options to use each week always keeping in mind that the purpose of the discussion is to have the participants share their silent prayer experience with one another in the group.
